Join Our Club

Joining our club is a two-step process.

First: You need to agree to our terms, read & acknowledge the review of the ratings system, pay your dues and create a 

"Club Membership Account"

Secondly: You will need to create a "Website Account" 

When you click the I Agree button below, it will take you to the registration form and payment options.  After payment is confirmed, return to the website home page, click on the person icon in the upper right hand corner, select create account, and follow the steps to get website private page access.

The Fine Print: 

• Memberships are restricted to permanent and seasonal residents of Sun City Shadow Hills HOA Only. Guests are not permitted to join the club.

• This season wristbands will be issued for all paid members and must be worn while on the court to prevent loss of website and court access.

• The annual dues are $30.00 per season. 

• The 2024 - 2025 Pickleball season runs from September 1, 2024 to August 31, 2025.

• Each member must sign-up and pay for their membership individually.
  
• Dues are non-refundable and there are no reduced or partial memberships available.

 Player Development Committee (PDC) Ratings System for the Upcoming Season:

• I understand this is a ratings-based pickleball club. Upon member sign up members will be requested to provide documentation from tournament play, home club rating, etc. or indicate if self-rated. 

• I understand that the Ratings system is designed to provide a structure, improving a player’s chances of having more competitive and enjoyable matches among members resulting in games with long rallies and close scoring games.

• I understand Self Rating is capped at the 2.5 skill level. A skill assessment conducted by the Rating Team is necessary to be rated at a 3.0 or higher level.

• I understand that returning members that are self-rated will not have their rating lowered.

• I understand that assessments will be available this season and all self-rated players may take advantage of the opportunity to receive a free assessment by our Ratings Team.

• I understand that there will still be limited club opportunities to play without being assessed by the Ratings Team, such as Social Play and Reserve a Court times, if this is my choice.

• I will honor the designated skill level and court assignments during open play and when signing up for Round Robins, Bucket Play, Club Tournaments and Lessons.

• I understand that health challenges and injuries may impact my playing ability, and it may be necessary to drop down a level in play until those challenges are resolved to resume the level of play required at the designated level. This is my decision and returning to previous ratings level will be at my discretion and will not require an assessment.
